Vogart 691 - Little Susan

Vogart 691-11I am not starting the New Year off right.  I am late on my pattern for this week.  I promise to be better.

These little girls were my Great Grandma's favorite.  When I first learned to embroider I made her a set of these tied them up with a ribbon and when she died a few years later at 96 she still had them wrapped in the ribbon I gave them to her with.  That is what she did with things she liked she never used them.  She still had the poncho in the box with tag attached she made me make her to be like Martha Stewart. She could not read and since she taught me to crochet and I could read I had to make her one.  Man I miss her.

My Grandma was a hoot at 90 she said she would not go to a senior center for bingo because it was for old people and she was not old.  She would have been 100 this year.

Hope you all are having a good New Year so far.

Grandma's are the Best! My gran taught me lots of craft stuff too, but unlike your gran mine used everything we gave her. Love your little pattern. Thanks for sharing.
